1. Purpose
The Botx Live App (“App”) is a reporting tool connected to the Botx POS system. It allows merchants to view POS activity in real time, search by date range, download reports into Excel, and access reporting logs. This App is report-only. It does not process transactions, alter records, or provide financial, tax, or compliance services.
2. Availability & Performance
Botx does not guarantee uninterrupted access or real-time accuracy. The App may be unavailable,delayed, or experience errors. Botx is not liable for downtime, reporting delays, or loss of access.
3. Reports & Data Accuracy
Reports in the App are direct outputs from the Botx POS system. Botx cannot alter, edit, or change your records. Order totals, cash transactions, tips, and tender actions are displayed as recorded by the POS.Reports may be exported into Excel format for your convenience. Botx is not responsible for formatting errors, corrupted files, incomplete downloads, or compatibility issues with Excel or other spreadsheet programs. Exported files are for informational use only. Merchants remain responsible for verifying the accuracy of all records and for maintaining their own permanent records. Botx is not responsible for payment disputes, deposit differences, or processing issues. For disputes, contact your payment provider.
4. Employee Activity Logs
The POS system may track employee activity, including cancels, refunds, transfers, and other POS actions. These logs are provided for your use only. Merchants are solely responsible for notifying their employees that POS activity may be logged. Botx is not responsible for employee privacy claims.
5. Taxes & Compliance
The App is not a tax or accounting system. Merchants are solely responsible for preparing, filing, and reporting taxes and compliance obligations. Exported Excel files are not official financial statements and should not be relied upon as final records for tax filing, accounting, or compliance purposes. Merchants must consult their accountant or financial professional to prepare and file taxes. Botx has no responsibility for merchant tax records or reporting accuracy.
6. Privacy Policy
The App collects only the information necessary to provide reporting functions. Information may include POS data, employee actions, and reports generated from your store. Data is not sold or shared with unrelated third parties. Information may be shared with service providers necessary for the App to function (e.g., hosting providers). Data may be deleted if a merchant account is closed or unpaid for 30 days.
7. Security
Merchants are responsible for securing devices, login credentials, and access to reports. Botx is not liable if unauthorized persons access your reports or logs through your device or account.
8. Limitations of Liability
Botx provides this App “as is” and “as available.” Botx disclaims all warranties, express or implied,including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and error-free operation. Botx is not responsible for losses, damages, or liabilities arising from use of the App, delays, errors, or inaccuracies in reporting.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from use of the App will be resolved by binding arbitration in Los Angeles,California. No class actions or jury trials are permitted.
